Recent research commissioned by Daniel Woolman, managing director of hygiene company Binifresh, has highlighted dangerously high levels of potentially lethal bacteria in UK's wheelie bins. The scientist found that wheelie bins are a breeding ground for a host of bacteria associated with some of the most devastating stomach bugs including salmonella, e.coli, legionella, clostridium and deadly listeria. These bacteria can lead to gastroenteritis, meningitis and septicaemia; as well as the cause of chronic stomach infections. In addition, some fungal spores can trigger chronic lung and ear infections, and Candida Albicans which cause both minor ailments including thrush, and Systemic Candidosis which can be fatal. As well as this wheelie bins can be a magnet for rats, foxes and other disease-carrying vermin.
In the Bin Limited has been established to fill the demand for a professional, reliable and efficient wheelie bin cleaning company; we offer a service to both a commercial (for example to restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, food handlers, hospitals, nursing homes, housing associations & local authorities) and domestic customers.
The cleaning process is the same for all sizes of wheelie bins for both domestic bins and the large 1100 litre commercial bins used by trade and industry.
Once a month, on the day of refuse collection In the Bin, will wash your bin. Your bin will be lifted into place by the hydraulic lifting ram and once in place the high pressure rotating jets blast water and a cleaning agent to remove dirt and grime from the inside of the bin. The bin is then rinsed using a lance and the waste water collected and poured back through the tray and filtered back into the main tank for further recycling. The bin is re-lifted into position to remove excess water which is recycled back into our onboard tanks.
The inside of the bin, rim, handles and lid are then sanitised and deodorised with a disinfectant with a jet spray, scouring wire by the operator leaving the bin fresh and clean. Your bin will be returned to its usual storage area. Any cleaning products used by In the Bin Limited are 100% biodegradable and are kind to the environment

In such circumstances we leave a freepost envelope together with a payment option calling card, the customer needs to choose their payment option and post the calling card and their cheque or postal order to us (writing their name and address on the back).
